The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489ZSDAX-A5RB or 489ZSDAXA5RB, is a mechanical shift PTO built for 8-bolt manual transmission openings found on Eaton Fuller, Eaton Endurant, Mack, Tremec, and similar gearboxes. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths compared to adapter-plate designs. The 489 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201 to 300 lb-ft and delivers up to 46 to 55 HP of output power. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
