The Chelsea 890LDFJW-E5XK or 890LDFJWE5XK is a hydraulic hot-shift power take-off built for Allison 3000 (MD) and 4000 (HD) series transmissions. It mounts via a 10-bolt pattern and uses an SAE C ("XS") output shaft. Unlike a standard side-mount PTO with a bolt-on extension, the 890 Series uses a single one-piece main shaft that eliminates input splines between the PTO body and the output, positioning the pump flange to the rear of the transmission for better clearance between the PTO and the frame rail. The wet-spline output lubricates the pump shaft interface to reduce wear in demanding, continuous-duty applications.
