The Chelsea 890 Series Power Take-Off, part number 890LEFJW-K5XY or 890LEFJWK5XY, is a hydraulic hot-shift PTO engineered specifically for Allison 3000 MD and 4000 HD Series transmissions. The 890 Series mounts via a 10-bolt pattern and positions the pump output flange to the rear of the transmission, improving clearance between the pump and the frame rail without requiring a separate extension unit. The main shaft is a single one-piece design that eliminates input splines between the PTO and the output extension. The output is SAE C with Wet Spline Technology, delivering continuous-duty torque up to 670 lb-ft and intermittent torque above 501 lb-ft. Shaft power reaches 64 HP at 500 RPM and 128 HP at 1,000 RPM. Common applications include aerial trucks, fire and rescue trucks, refuse trucks, and truck cranes. Call us to confirm proper fit for your application.

Additional Information
The Chelsea 890 Series is a single-unit design - not a PTO paired with a bolt-on extension. The clutch is positioned at the rear of the PTO housing, allowing the gear section to sit tight against the transmission for tighter clearance between the unit and the frame rail. An additional bracket at the rear of the transmission provides supplemental support. The 890 Series can be configured for transmissions equipped with or without a cooler, retarder, or both. Typical service markets include aerial, fire and rescue, refuse, snow and ice, defense, and on-highway applications where pump space is limited and high continuous torque is required.Parts Manual: Chelsea 890 Series PTO Parts Manual (PDF) — exploded views, item numbers and the full parts breakdown for this series.
