The Chelsea 897HBFJW-M5AZ or 897HBFJWM5AZ is a constant-engagement power take-off engineered for Allison 3000 and 4000 Series transmissions. It mounts via a 10-bolt pattern and delivers continuous torque up to 670 ft-lb, with intermittent ratings above 501 lb-ft. The SAE C output flange and wet-spline output shaft extend PTO and pump shaft life in demanding service. Unlike a standard side-mount PTO with a bolt-on extension, the 897 Series uses a one-piece main shaft that relocates the pump interface to the rear of the transmission, tucking the housing tightly against the transmission for improved frame-rail clearance.
