The Chelsea 897HCFJW-M5XV or 897HCFJWM5XV is a constant engagement Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 897 Series, designed specifically for Allison 3000 and 4000 Series transmissions. The 897 Series moves the SAE C pump mounting flange to the rear of the transmission, positioning the hydraulic pump output behind the gear section so the housing tucks tightly against the transmission for improved clearance between the PTO and the frame rail. Mounting is via a 10-bolt pattern, with an additional rear bracket for support. The output shaft uses Chelsea's Wet Spline design, which lubricates the pump shaft interface to extend spline life in demanding duty cycles. The one-piece main shaft eliminates input splines between the PTO body and the output extension.
