The Chelsea 899HEFJW-M5XY or 899HEFJWM5XY is a constant-mesh Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 899 Series, engineered specifically for Allison 4700 Series transmissions. The 10-bolt mounting configuration positions the SAE C pump flange at the rear of the transmission, tucking the housing tightly against the transmission for improved clearance between the PTO and the frame rail. Output is through an SAE C 1-1/4"-14T pump spline shaft with wet spline lubrication to extend PTO and pump shaft life under demanding duty cycles. The one-piece main shaft eliminates input splines between the PTO and output extension. Common applications in this series include aerial trucks, fire and rescue, refuse trucks, and truck cranes.
