The Chelsea 221 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 221XLAHX-A4XD or 221XLAHXA4XD, is a 6-bolt mounted PTO designed for low-speed, heavy-duty applications including dump trucks, tow and recovery, and aerial equipment. Shift type is wire/cable mechanical. The 1-1/4" round output shaft with keyway delivers up to 250 lb-ft (339 Nm) intermittent torque, with shaft power rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Compatible transmissions include Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, Hino, and other manufacturers. The cast iron housing is available in standard or low-profile configurations. Call us to confirm proper fit for your application.

The Chelsea 221 Series uses tapered cone output bearings rather than needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability under heavy-duty cycle conditions. The 360-degree rotatable flange design and twenty-six output options give this series broad versatility across aerial, dump truck, and tow and recovery applications. A self-lube option is available for transmissions that have difficulty supplying lubrication to the PTO. Three internal speed ratios and eleven shift options are offered across the 221 Series.
