The Chelsea 272ADKUP-G5RY or 272ADKUPG5RY is a 272 Series hot shift power take-off assembly featuring a 6-bolt mounting configuration and a 1-1/4" round output shaft with a 5/16" key. It shifts pneumatically via an integral air control valve and also supports PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) operation. The 272 Series is rated for continuous torque up to 300 lb-ft (407 Nm) and intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm) range, with shaft output of 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. Rotatable flanges and a Smart Start option for high-torque start-up conditions are included in the series design. This PTO is suited for aerial, towing and recovery, construction equipment, and water truck applications across a broad range of transmissions including Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Ford, Aisin, Volvo/Mack, and RAM.
