The Chelsea 272 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 272GAHVP-K3XD or 272GAHVPK3XD, is a 6-bolt hot-shift PTO built for medium-duty applications including aerial, construction equipment, towing and recovery, and water trucks. It features a 1-1/4" round output shaft with a 5/16" key and shifts pneumatically or via PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic). Continuous torque capability reaches 300 lb-ft (407 Nm), with intermittent torque rated at 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm). Shaft power output is 57 HP (43 kW) at 1,000 RPM. The 272 Series consolidates several prior Chelsea medium-duty PTO lines into one versatile platform, offering rotatable flanges, an integral air control valve, and optional wet-spline and Smart-Start features.
