The Chelsea 272 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 272RDKUP-G3RY or 272RDKUPG3RY, is a 6-bolt hot-shift PTO designed for medium-duty applications including aerial, construction equipment, water trucks, and towing and recovery. It ships with a 1-1/4" round output shaft with a 5/16" key and uses a pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) shift mechanism with an integral air control valve. Continuous torque capability for this series reaches 300 lb-ft (407 Nm); intermittent torque is rated 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm). Shaft power output is 57 HP (43 kW) at 1,000 RPM. The 272 Series consolidates and replaces the 230, 231, 236, 238, 270, and 271 Series PTOs. Rotatable flanges and Smart-Start capability are included.
