The Chelsea 272 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 272XBAJR-P3XD or 272XBAJRP3XD, is a 6-bolt hot shift PTO built around a continuous-duty torque rating of 300 lb-ft (407 Nm), with intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm) range. It shifts via pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) actuation and comes with an integral air control valve. The 1-1/4" round output shaft uses a 5/16" key. At 500 RPM the shaft delivers 29 HP (21 kW); at 1,000 RPM, 57 HP (43 kW). Compatible transmission manufacturers include Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Ford, Aisin, Volvo/Mack, and RAM, among others.
