The Chelsea 272 Series power take-off assembly, part number 272XBAJR-P5XD or 272XBAJRP5XD, is a 6-bolt hot shift PTO designed for medium-duty applications. The 272 Series supports up to 300 lb-ft of intermittent torque and consolidates the earlier 230, 231, 236, 238, 270, and 271 series into a single versatile platform. Available with pneumatic or hydraulic shift and an integral air control valve, this series offers nine speed ratios and 18 shift configurations. Output options span round shaft sizes with key configurations, and the direct-mount outputs are available with Wet-Spline technology for extended PTO and pump shaft service life.
