The Chelsea 272 Series power take-off assembly, part number 272ZSJWX-15BD or 272ZSJWX15BD, is a 6-bolt hot shift PTO designed for medium-duty applications in towing and recovery, aerial, construction equipment, and water truck service. The 272 Series supports intermittent torque ratings from 201 to 300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm) and is available with either pneumatic or hydraulic shift, with an integral air control valve included. Output shaft options in this series include round shaft configurations with 1-inch and 1-1/4-inch dimensions. The series offers nine speed ratios and eighteen shift options, consolidating the earlier 230, 231, 236, 238, 270, and 271 series into one platform.
