281GBFJP-B8BV Chelsea PTO Assembly

The Chelsea 281 Series Power Take-Off, part number 281GBFJP-B8BV or 281GBFJPB8BV, is a hydraulically shifted hot shift PTO engineered for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, including Allison and Caterpillar applications. It carries a continuous torque rating up to 390 lb-ft (529 Nm) at the series level, with nine available speed ratios spanning low and high ranges. The ductile iron bearing cap is 117% stronger than the gray iron cap used in the predecessor 280 Series, and an enhanced clutch pack with 80% thicker steel discs resists premature tooth wear. An o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap reduces vibrational effects and improves clamp load. Electronic Overspeed Control (EOC) and the optional Wet Spline Lubrication package are standard Chelsea features on this unit.
