The Chelsea 281GBFJR-B5RK or 281GBFJRB5RK is a 281 Series Power Take-Off Assembly built for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, including Allison applications. This hydraulically shifted, hot-shift PTO supports continuous operation and delivers nine speed ratios spanning both low and high ranges. The ductile iron bearing cap is 117% stronger than gray iron, and the clutch pack uses steel discs 80% thicker than the previous-generation design to resist premature tooth wear. Rotatable cast-iron flanges reduce interference clearance issues, and the wet spline lubrication option extends shaft life by 7 to 10 times.
