The Chelsea 281 Series Power Take-Off, part number 281GCFJV-D8RY or 281GCFJVD8RY, is a hydraulically shifted hot-shift PTO built for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, including Allison and Caterpillar applications. This series is the evolution of the top-selling 280 Series and incorporates a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap, and an 80% thicker clutch pack steel disc for increased resistance to premature tooth wear. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high ranges. The Wet Spline Lubrication option extends shaft life by 7 to 10 times.
