281GCKVP-B5RF Chelsea PTO Assembly

The Chelsea 281 Series Power Take-Off 281GCKVP-B5RF or 281GCKVPB5RF is a hydraulically shifted, hot-shift PTO engineered for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, commonly fitted on Allison transmissions. The 281 Series is an evolution of the Chelsea 280 Series, carrying forward a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron and an upgraded o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap that improves clamp load and resists the vibrational effects of modern engine designs. The clutch pack uses steel discs 80% thicker than the predecessor unit to resist premature tooth wear. Nine speed ratios cover both low- and high-speed applications. Rotatable cast-iron flanges reduce interference clearance issues, and the Positive Stop feature on driveline outputs eliminates oil seal damage from coupling contact. The Wet Spline Lubrication option extends shaft service life by 7 to 10 times.
