The Chelsea 281GDFJP-D8RY or 281GDFJPD8RY is a 281 Series hydraulically shifted hot-shift Power Take-Off built for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, including Allison and Caterpillar units. The series delivers a continuous torque rating up to 390 lb-ft and offers nine speed ratios spanning both low and high ranges. A ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap, and an 80% thicker clutch pack steel disc all address vibrational stress common in modern engine designs. Rotatable cast-iron flanges ease pump clearance, and a Wet Spline Lubrication option extends shaft life by 7 to 10 times. Electronic Overspeed Control (EOC) and SmartStart are included features.
