281GGFJP-B3BD Chelsea PTO Assembly

The Chelsea 281 Series Power Take-Off, part number 281GGFJP-B3BD or 281GGFJPB3BD, is a hydraulically shifted hot-shift PTO designed for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, including Allison and Caterpillar units. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high speed demands. The ductile iron bearing cap is 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap reduces vibrational effects and improves clamp load. The clutch pack features 80% thicker steel discs to resist premature tooth wear. Rotatable cast-iron flanges reduce interference issues at the pump, and the optional Wet Spline Lubrication delivers 7 to 10 times greater shaft life. SmartStart reduces shock load at start-up, and the Electronic Overspeed Control (EOC) protects driven equipment.
