The Chelsea 281 Series Power Take-Off, part number 281GGFJP-D5RF or 281GGFJPD5RF, is a hydraulically shifted hot-shift PTO engineered for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, commonly matched to Allison transmissions. The 281 Series evolved from the top-selling 280 Series and introduces a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap to improve clamp load, and clutch-pack steel disks that are 80% thicker to resist premature tooth wear. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high-speed demands. The wet spline lubrication option extends shaft life 7 to 10 times over a standard configuration.
