281GGFJP-D8RS Chelsea PTO Assembly

The Chelsea 281GGFJP-D8RS or 281GGFJPD8RS is a 281 Series Power Take-Off assembly, hydraulically shifted (PowerShift) and designed for continuous-duty operation on automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, including Allison and Caterpillar transmissions. The 281 Series is an evolution of the 280 Series, with a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap to improve clamp load, and an 80% increase in clutch-pack disc thickness to resist premature tooth wear. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high ranges. Rotatable cast-iron flanges reduce interference issues, and a Wet Spline Lubrication option extends shaft life by 7 to 10 times.
