281GGFJP-G5RB Chelsea PTO Assembly

The Chelsea 281 Series Power Take-Off (part number 281GGFJP-G5RB or 281GGFJPG5RB) is a hydraulically shifted, hot-shift PTO designed for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, including Allison and Caterpillar units. An evolution of the 280 Series, the 281 Series introduces a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap to improve clamp load and reduce vibration damage. Steel discs in the clutch pack are 80% thicker than the previous generation to resist premature tooth wear. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high-speed applications. Output options include SAE B and SAE C pump flanges, ISO 7652 pump flange, and driveline. Common markets include fire and rescue, refuse, truck cranes, and pumper-cleaner equipment.
