Additional Information

The Chelsea 281 Series is an evolution of the top-selling 280 Series PTO, engineered to address the vibrational demands of modern and future engine designs. Typical markets served include fire and rescue, truck cranes, pumper-cleaner vehicles, and refuse trucks. SmartStart reduces shock load at start-up for compatible applications, and the positive stop for driveline outputs eliminates oil seal damage from coupling contact. Rotatable cast-iron flanges reduce interference issues with pumps and driven equipment.
