281GGFJR-D5RY Chelsea PTO Assembly

The Chelsea 281GGFJR-D5RY or 281GGFJRD5RY is a 281 Series Power Take-Off assembly built for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, including Allison applications. It uses hydraulic PowerShift engagement, making it a hot-shift PTO suited for continuous-duty operation. The 281 Series carries a continuous torque rating of 390 lb-ft and delivers output through SAE B or SAE C pump flanges, ISO 7652 flanges, or driveline configurations depending on build. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high ranges. The ductile iron bearing cap is 117% stronger than gray iron, and an o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load while reducing vibrational effects common with modern engine designs.
