281GGFJW-G3RF Chelsea PTO Assembly

The Chelsea 281 Series Power Take-Off, part number 281GGFJW-G3RF or 281GGFJWG3RF, is a hydraulically shifted hot-shift PTO engineered for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, including Allison transmissions. Built as an evolution of the 280 Series, the 281 Series features a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap for improved clamp load, and an enhanced clutch pack with 80% thicker steel discs to resist premature tooth wear. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high ranges. Rotatable cast-iron flanges reduce interference fit issues, and the wet spline lubrication option extends shaft life by 7 to 10 times.
