The Chelsea 281 Series Power Take-Off assembly, part number 281GGFJW-N3RY or 281GGFJWN3RY, is a hydraulically shifted hot-shift PTO engineered for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, commonly used on Allison and Caterpillar transmissions. Evolved from the top-selling 280 Series, the 281 Series adds a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an 80% thicker clutch pack for resistance to premature tooth wear, and an o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap for improved clamp load. Nine speed ratios cover low- and high-speed applications. Typical markets include fire and rescue, refuse, truck cranes, and pumper cleaner equipment.
