281GKFJP-B5SD Chelsea PTO Assembly

The Chelsea 281 Series Power Take-Off, part number 281GKFJP-B5SD or 281GKFJPB5SD, is a hydraulically shifted (PowerShift) PTO engineered for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, including Allison and Caterpillar transmissions. Built as an evolution of the 280 Series, the 281 Series introduces a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap to improve clamp load, and an 80% thicker clutch pack to resist premature tooth wear. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high ranges. Rotatable cast-iron flanges reduce interference clearance issues at the pump. The Wet Spline Lubrication option extends shaft life 7 to 10 times over standard configurations. Available with Electronic Overspeed Control (EOC) for driven-equipment protection.
