281GSFJP-B5SV Chelsea PTO Assembly

The Chelsea 281 Series Power Take-Off, part number 281GSFJP-B5SV or 281GSFJPB5SV, is a hydraulically shifted hot-shift PTO designed for 10-bolt automatic transmission apertures, commonly fitted to Allison and Caterpillar transmissions. The 281 Series is an evolution of the 280 Series, carrying forward a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap to improve clamp load and reduce vibrational effects, and an enhanced clutch pack with 80% thicker steel discs to resist premature tooth wear. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high ranges. Rotatable cast iron flanges reduce pump clearance interference, and a Wet Spline Lubrication option is available.
