281GSFJP-K5RK Chelsea PTO Assembly

The Chelsea 281GSFJP-K5RK or 281GSFJPK5RK is a 281 Series hydraulic PowerShift Power Take-Off built for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, commonly found on Allison installations. It mounts at the 10-bolt opening and shifts hydraulically, supporting continuous-duty operation. The 281 Series evolved from the 280 Series with a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an O-ring sealing configuration that improves clamp load and reduces vibration effects, and an 80% thicker clutch pack to resist premature tooth wear. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high ranges. Rotatable cast-iron flanges reduce interference issues, and the wet spline lubrication option extends shaft life 7 to 10 times.
