The Chelsea 282GCAJX-P3RK or 282GCAJXP3RK is a medium-duty hot shift Power Take-Off assembly from the Chelsea 282 Series. This series uses an 8-bolt mounting configuration and supports intermittent torque up to 300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm), with pneumatic or hydraulic (PowerShift) shift options. The Chelsea 282 Series was developed as a redesign of the medium-duty hot shift PTO line, combining features of the 238 Series with upgraded moving parts rated for up to 300 lb-ft continuous or intermittent duty. The series is used across aerial lift, construction equipment, towing and recovery, water truck, and home fuel oil delivery truck applications. Direct mount outputs include an optional Wet-Spline feature for extended PTO and pump shaft service life. Driveshaft output configurations include a positive stop to prevent seal damage from driveshaft yokes. A Smart Start option is available for high-torque startup applications.
