The Chelsea 282GCAJX-13RS is a 282 Series medium-duty hot-shift power take-off built for demanding continuous-duty cycles. It mounts via an 8-bolt pattern and accepts pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) activation. The 1-1/4" round output shaft uses a 5/16" key drive. Continuous torque capability reaches 300 lb-ft (407 Nm); intermittent torque is rated at 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm). Shaft power output runs 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. The 282 Series is designed for aerial, construction, towing and recovery, water truck, and fuel oil delivery applications. Compatible transmissions include Allison, Eaton/Fuller, and Volvo/Mack.
