The Chelsea 282GGAJX-A3BD or 282GGAJXA3BD is an 8-bolt power take-off assembly from the Chelsea 282 Series, designed for medium-duty hot-shift applications. It shifts pneumatically or via PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) and delivers up to 300 lb-ft of continuous torque and 201-300 lb-ft intermittent torque across a range of transmission platforms including Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and others. The 1-1/4" round output shaft includes a 5/16" key. Shaft power reaches 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. Common applications include aerial, towing and recovery, construction equipment, water trucks, and fuel oil delivery trucks. An integral air valve, rotatable flanges, and an optional Smart Start feature for high-torque start-up are built into the 282 Series design.
