The Chelsea 282GMAJX-A3RF or 282GMAJXA3RF is a medium-duty hot-shift power take-off from the Chelsea 282 Series, designed for continuous-duty operation up to 300 lb-ft of torque. The 8-bolt mount accommodates Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other transmission applications. Output is a 1-1/4" round shaft with a 5/16" key. Shift options include pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic). Shaft power output is rated at 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. An integral air valve, rotatable flanges, and an optional Wet-Spline design for extended pump and shaft life are built into the 282 Series platform. Smart Start is available for high-torque start-up conditions. Typical applications include aerial work, construction equipment, towing and recovery, water trucks, and fuel oil delivery trucks.
