The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 282GTAJX-A3XV or 282GTAJXA3XV, is an 8-bolt, medium-duty hot-shift PTO rated for up to 300 lb-ft of continuous torque and 201-300 lb-ft intermittent torque (401-500 Nm). Output is a 1-1/4" round shaft with a 5/16" key. Shift is pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic), and the unit is compatible with Allison, Volvo/Mack, Eaton/Fuller, and other transmission manufacturers. Shaft power output reaches 57 HP (42 kW) at 1,000 RPM. The 282 Series is built for aerial, construction, towing and recovery, water truck, and fuel oil delivery applications.
