The Chelsea 282 Series PTO Assembly, part number 282GTAJX-13XD or 282GTAJX13XD, is a medium-duty hot-shift power take-off built for continuous-duty applications. It mounts via an 8-bolt pattern and accepts pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) actuation. The 1-1/4" round output shaft uses a 5/16" key. Continuous torque capability reaches 300 lb-ft (407 Nm); intermittent torque falls in the 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm) range. Shaft power output is 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. Compatible transmissions include Allison, Volvo/Mack, Eaton/Fuller, and other makes. The 282 Series serves aerial, construction, towing and recovery, water truck, and fuel oil delivery applications.
