The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 282XBAJX-V3BD or 282XBAJXV3BD, is a medium-duty hot-shift PTO built for demanding mobile equipment applications. It mounts via an 8-bolt pattern and shifts pneumatically or via PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic). The 1-1/4" round output shaft accepts a 5/16" key. The 282 Series delivers continuous torque capability up to 300 lb-ft (407 Nm) and intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm) range, with shaft power rated at 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. Compatible with Allison, Volvo/Mack, and Eaton/Fuller transmissions, among others.
