The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 282XBAJX-A3RK or 282XBAJXA3RK, is a medium-duty hot-shift PTO built for demanding vocational applications including aerial, towing and recovery, construction equipment, water trucks, and fuel oil delivery. This unit mounts via an 8-bolt pattern and fits transmissions from Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other manufacturers. Shift is pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic). The 1-1/4" round output shaft includes a 5/16" key. The 282 Series carries a continuous-duty torque rating of 300 lb-ft (407 Nm), with an intermittent rating of 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm).
