The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 282XDAJX-23XD or 282XDAJX23XD, is an 8-bolt medium-duty hot-shift PTO designed for pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) actuation. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with a 5/16" key. Compatible transmissions include Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other manufacturers. Intermittent torque ratings fall in the 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm) range, with continuous-duty torque up to 300 lb-ft. Shaft power output reaches 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. Rotatable flanges, an integral air valve, and an optional Wet-Spline configuration make this unit well-suited for aerial, construction, towing and recovery, water truck, and fuel oil delivery applications.
