The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 282XGAJX-A3RS or 282XGAJXA3RS, is a medium-duty hot-shift PTO designed for demanding continuous-duty cycles. It mounts via an 8-bolt pattern and fits transmissions from Allison, Volvo/Mack, Eaton/Fuller, and other manufacturers. The 1-1/4" round output shaft includes a 5/16" keyway. Shift is pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic), with an integral air valve built in. The 282 Series supports up to 300 lb-ft continuous torque and 201-300 lb-ft intermittent torque, making it suited for aerial, construction, towing and recovery, water truck, and fuel oil delivery applications.
