The Chelsea 282XGAJX-V3XD or 282XGAJXV3XD is an 8-bolt medium-duty hot shift power take-off from the Chelsea 282 Series, designed for applications including aerial equipment, construction, towing and recovery, water trucks, and fuel oil delivery. It accepts pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) actuation and features an integral air valve, so no external valve assembly is required. The 1-1/4" round output shaft with 5/16" key is compatible with Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other transmission platforms. Continuous torque capability reaches 300 lb-ft (407 Nm), with intermittent ratings from 201 to 300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm). Shaft power output is 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1000 RPM.
