The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 282XGAJX-V3RY or 282XGAJXV3RY, is a medium-duty hot-shift PTO built for demanding mobile equipment applications including aerial, construction, towing and recovery, water trucks, and fuel oil delivery. It mounts via an 8-bolt pattern and accepts pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) actuation. The 1-1/4" round output shaft uses a 5/16" key. Continuous torque capability reaches 300 lb-ft (407 Nm), with intermittent torque rated at 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm). Shaft power output is rated at 29 HP (21 kW) at 500 RPM and 57 HP (43 kW) at 1,000 RPM. An integral air valve, rotatable flanges, and a Smart Start option for high-torque start-up are built into the 282 Series design. Available from Pro Gear and Transmission.
