The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 282XGAJX-B5RK or 282XGAJXB5RK, is an 8-bolt medium-duty hot-shift PTO designed for demanding continuous-duty applications. It accepts pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) engagement and delivers a 1-1/4" round output shaft with a 5/16" key. The 282 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm) and is rated for continuous-duty torque up to 300 lb-ft, verified against application-specific data. Shaft power output is 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. Compatible transmissions include Allison, Volvo/Mack, Eaton/Fuller, and other manufacturers. An optional Wet-Spline feature extends PTO and pump shaft service life. Typical markets include aerial, towing and recovery, construction equipment, water trucks, and home fuel oil delivery.
