The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 282XGAJX-P3RS or 282XGAJXP3RS, is an 8-bolt medium-duty hot-shift PTO designed for demanding continuous-duty applications. It mounts to transmissions from Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other manufacturers. The 1-1/4" round output shaft with 5/16" key accepts direct-mount pumps or driveshaft setups. Shift is pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic), with an integral air valve built in. Shaft power output reaches 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. Rotatable flanges allow flexible installation positioning. The 282 Series is used across aerial, construction, towing and recovery, water truck, and fuel oil delivery applications.
