The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off, part number 282XKAJX-A3XV or 282XKAJXA3XV, is a medium-duty hot-shift PTO built around an 8-bolt mounting configuration. It accepts either pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) activation and carries a continuous torque rating of 300 lb-ft (407 Nm), with an intermittent torque range of 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm). The 1-1/4" round output shaft uses a 5/16" key. Shaft power output reaches 57 HP (43 kW) at 1,000 RPM and 29 HP (21 kW) at 500 RPM. Compatible transmissions include Allison, Volvo/Mack, Eaton/Fuller, and other manufacturers.
