The Chelsea 282 Series PTO Assembly, part number 282XKAJX-R3RK or 282XKAJXR3RK, is an 8-bolt medium-duty hot-shift power take-off built for demanding continuous-duty applications. It accepts pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) actuation and carries a continuous torque rating up to 300 lb-ft (407 Nm), with an intermittent torque range of 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm). The 1-1/4" round output shaft uses a 5/16" key drive. Shaft power output is rated at 29 HP (21 kW) at 500 RPM and 57 HP (43 kW) at 1,000 RPM. Compatible transmission families include Allison, Volvo/Mack, and Eaton/Fuller platforms, among others.
