The Chelsea 282XKAKX-15RF or 282XKAKX15RF is a medium-duty hot-shift power take-off assembly from the Chelsea 282 Series, designed for demanding applications including aerial trucks, towing and recovery, construction equipment, water trucks, and fuel oil delivery. It mounts via an 8-bolt pattern and works with transmissions from Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other manufacturers. Shift is pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic). The 1-1/4" round output shaft includes a 5/16" key. The 282 Series carries a continuous-duty torque rating, with shaft power rated at 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM.
