The Chelsea 282 Series was developed as a redesign of the medium-duty hot shift PTO line, combining the best elements of the 238 Series with updated components. The 282 Series features rotatable flanges, a Wet-Spline option for extended PTO and pump shaft service life, and a positive stop on driveshaft outputs to help prevent seal damage from driveshaft yokes. A Smart Start option is available within the series for high-torque start-up situations.
