The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off, part number 282XMAJX-13RS or 282XMAJX13RS, is an 8-bolt medium-duty hot-shift PTO built for demanding continuous-duty work. The 1-1/4" round output shaft accepts a 5/16" key and supports intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range. Shift options include pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic), with an integral air valve built into the assembly. Shaft power output reaches 57 HP at 1,000 RPM or 43 kW at the same speed. Compatible transmissions include Allison, Eaton/Fuller, and Volvo/Mack gearboxes, among others. The 282 Series covers aerial, towing and recovery, construction, water truck, and fuel oil delivery applications.
