The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 282XMAJX-B3SD or 282XMAJXB3SD, is an 8-bolt, medium-duty hot-shift PTO designed for demanding continuous-duty applications. It ships with a 1-1/4" round output shaft with a 5/16" keyway and supports both pneumatic and PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) actuation. Compatible transmissions include Allison, Volvo/Mack, and Eaton/Fuller platforms, among others. Shaft power output reaches 57 HP at 1,000 RPM and 29 HP at 500 RPM. The 282 Series integrates an air valve, rotatable flanges, and an optional wet-spline output for extended pump and shaft life. A Smart Start option is available for high-torque engagement.
