The Chelsea 282XMAJX-A3BD or 282XMAJXA3BD is an 8-bolt power take-off from the Chelsea 282 Series, designed for medium-duty hot-shift applications. It accepts either pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) actuation and carries a continuous torque rating up to 300 lb-ft (407 Nm), with intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm) range. The 1-1/4" round output shaft uses a 5/16" key. Shaft power output reaches 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. The unit is compatible with Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other transmission configurations.
